We were approved to be foster parents for the SPCA and today we got our first babies to love!

Signing Back On As Mom

December 30, 2019

After waking up at the buttcrack of dawn, ravenous and ready for play time, the babies have decided to have nap time in Farley’s old bed…on top of the toys.

Snowball came into our lives and reminded us why puppies are so much fun!  For starters, he is a COMEDIAN and has kept us laughing from the moment he decided he was home.

It only took a couple hours snuggling on the couch for him to decide he could be comfortable here.  Snowball went running around and exploring, found his bowl and began throwing food in the air, then eating it off the floor. To Snowball, everything is a game!

He is full of fun and curiosity and he loves playtime, but he wants you to remember he also loves to snuggle, especially after a bath!  He wears himself out playing and then he likes to bury himself under the couch pillows for a nap, such that the only sign of this funny pup is his little tail!

Snowball is a very sweet and fun-loving boy who is sure to steal your heart with his big appetite for food and life alike. He has been a pleasure to foster and I have enjoyed having his enthusiastic-about-everything personality in my home!

It is only because I do not possess the house or the yard conducive to “bigger dog motherhood” that I am not personally chomping at the bit to adopt sweet Belle, for she has captured my heart.

She was a love from the minute the SPCA staff put her in my arms. She came home feeling kind of puny as many dogs do after such a transition, but her only concern was pleasing me.

She is sensitive, easygoing and attentive. She loves to snuggle!

At just 8 weeks old, Belle has begun to signal at the door to say she needs to go out. I’d say full potty training is just around the corner. She is content in the bathtub, but appreciates some blanket snuggles while she finishes drying off so she doesn’t get cold.

Belle has been an absolute joy to have in our home and I will sincerely be sad to see her go. It is my hope that you, fellow animal lover, will give our special girl the life she so deserves.
